Qualifikationen

• Matric (NQF Level 4) is required and a culinary qualification is advantageous.
• Able to work shifts and be flexible.
• Experience in a busy up-market establishment is preferred.

• Prepare and cook dishes with precision following established recipes.
• Assist Chef de Partie to manage section operations for efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior staff in culinary techniques and equipment use.
• Monitor ingredient usage, stock levels and report fluctuations.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and adhere to safety standards.
• Rotate stock using FIFO to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
• Receive, inspect and store deliveries properly.
• Follow health and safety regulations for handling and cooking.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure quality service.
