Our client is seeking a highly experienced Demand Planner to lead their S&OP process, ensuring seamless alignment across sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams.
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Own and lead the S&OP process, driving alignment between multiple business units.
- Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and customer forecasts to develop precise demand projections.
- Create and maintain a 12-month rolling forecast, consolidating all product category demand plans.
- Apply statistical models and forecasting tools to predict future demand patterns.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to integrate market insights, promotions, and product launches into forecasts.
- Regularly review and adjust forecasts through S&OP cycles to reflect market changes.
- Partner with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and operations to align demand, production, and distribution plans.
- Monitor inventory health to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize excess, and meet aging stock targets.
- Identify risks to demand and supply plans, troubleshoot issues such as shipping delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Generate comprehensive S&OP reports on forecast accuracy, demand trends, and inventory performance.
- Provide strategic insights to enhance forecasting accuracy, supply chain resilience, and overall business agility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a relevant field.
- 6 or more years of experience in full demand planning.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on inventory management and data analysis.
- Proven ability to develop accurate demand forecasts and manage cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
- Statistical modeling tools and forecasting software.
- Experience within retail or FMCG sectors.
