Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives to cover South Africa, driving top-of-funnel activities and pipeline development. You will research accounts, build contact lists, and book meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You’ll use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to run thoughtful, high-quality outreach at scale while learning and improving with the sales team.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar.
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
