Job summary

Kabstrading Co in Durban is seeking a Driver to operate the organisation's vehicles for daily deliveries and collections to support standard operations. You will collect goods from Centres and sites, deliver items as instructed, transport staff and beneficiaries, and maintain vehicle condition; weekend work may be required.

The driver will be responsible for driving staff and beneficiaries to required destinations, maintaining safety, and following procurement guidance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s licence required
• Clean driving record preferred
• Good knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

• Collect goods from different Centres and sites
• Collect and deliver items as instructed by procurement officer/line manager
• Drive staff members and beneficiaries to required destinations
• Adhere to policies and procedures to attain department objectives
• May have to work weekends when needed
• Ensure the vehicle is in good working order before trips and report problems to the line manager or procurement manager
• Ensure the car is kept clean and tidy at all times
