Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-driven Delivery Operations Support Specialist to join our logistics team. This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery process by handling delivery queries, reallocations, and re-routing tasks. The successful candidate will work closely with our warehouses to resolve operational issues that may prevent timely deliveries and will investigate and resolve system-related issues affecting the delivery workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Support & Resolution:

  • Manage and resolve delivery-related queries from internal teams and customers.
  • Coordinate delivery reallocations and re-routing based on capacity, availability, and business priorities.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and proactively address potential disruptions or delays.

Warehouse Support:

  • Act as a liaison between the logistics team and warehouse staff to resolve operational barriers.
  • Assist warehouses in troubleshooting issues that prevent completion of deliveries.
  • Document and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate stakeholders for resolution.

System Investigation & Issue Resolution:

  • Investigate anomalies and system errors affecting delivery execution and tracking.
  • Collaborate with the IT and systems teams to resolve system issues promptly.
  • Test and validate fixes to ensure resolution and minimal disruption to operations.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of SOPs related to delivery operations and system use.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Generate daily/weekly reports on delivery disruptions, resolution times, and system performance.
  • Communicate updates and status reports to the logistics management team.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience in a logistics, distribution, or delivery operations role (preferred but not mandatory for graduates with relevant internships or project work).

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with logistics management systems and delivery tracking platforms is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and hands-on approach.
