Job summary

The Building Company in Kenton-On-Sea is hiring a delivery driver for permanent placement. You will provide safe, prompt delivery to store clients, keep the vehicle organized, and help with loading and unloading while reporting any defects.

Position requires Grade 12 and Code 10 HV / Code 8 LV licenses with at least two years of relevant experience; focus on customer service and cost-conscious operation.

Qualifications

• Must hold Grade 12 and valid driving licenses Code 10 (HV) and Code 8 (LV).
• Two years of relevant delivery/logistics experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to report defects promptly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to stores in a safe, prompt manner.
• Keep the vehicle neatly packed and organized.
• Prevent damages and breakages during transit.
• Assist with loading and unloading operations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Maintain accurate delivery notes and COD collections.
• Ensure correct quantities and supplies are delivered.
• Aim to reduce vehicle costs through careful handling.
