You will be an integral part of the supply chain, responsible for the efficient operation of company vehicles and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to manage their routes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations within the Midrand area and surrounding regions.
• Plan daily routes to optimize delivery schedules and minimize travel time.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working order and reporting any defects.
• Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring proper handling and securing of all items.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery signatures and any necessary paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients upon delivery, addressing any queries or concerns professionally.

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 driver's license with a professional driving permit (PDP).
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably within the logistics industry.
• Familiarity with the Midrand and greater Gauteng road networks.
• Excellent driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages, demonstrating physical stamina.
