• 3+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in DeFi protocol development.
• Proficiency in Solidity and Ethereum-focused smart contracts.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented DeFi Protocol Engineer to join their growing team in Vereeniging . This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining decentralized finance protocols that power innovative financial applications. You will work on complex systems involving smart contracts, tokenomics, and blockchain infrastructure to create secure, efficient, and user-friendly financial products. Be part of a dynamic team pushing the boundaries of finance in the Gauteng region, contributing to the evolution of decentralized financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement core logic for DeFi protocols, including lending, borrowing, and trading mechanisms.
• Develop and rigorously test smart contracts for various DeFi applications.
• Integrate protocols with different blockchain networks and external data sources.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years focused on DeFi protocol development.
