About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and innovative DeFi Protocol Developer to join their forward-thinking team in Vereeniging . This role is at the cutting edge of financial technology, focusing on the design, development, and deployment of decentralized finance protocols. You will work on building robust and secure smart contracts for lending, borrowing, trading, and yield farming applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in smart contract development, a deep understanding of DeFi concepts, and a passion for building the future of finance. You will be instrumental in shaping the architecture and functionality of our next-generation DeFi products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts for various DeFi protocols (e.g., DEXs, lending platforms, AMMs).


• Write high-quality, audited Solidity code adhering to best practices for security and gas efficiency.


• Integrate with various blockchain networks and oracles to ensure accurate data feeds and interoperability.


• Conduct rigorous testing, including unit, integration, and security testing, for all deployed contracts.


• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define protocol specifications and features.


• Continuously research and implement new DeFi strategies and innovations to enhance protocol functionality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying DeFi protocols and smart contracts.


• Strong proficiency in Solidity and experience with development frameworks like Hardhat or Truffle.


• Deep understanding of core DeFi concepts , including AMMs, liquidity pools, yield farming, and lending protocols.


• Familiarity with blockchain security best practices and common vulnerabilities in smart contracts.


• Experience with decentralized oracles, token standards (ERC-20, etc.), and blockchain interoperability solutions.
