Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled DeFi Protocol Engineer to join our remote team supporting operations based out of Richards Bay, South Africa. You will design, build and optimize core DeFi protocols and smart contracts for lending, borrowing, trading and other instruments.

You'll tackle security, performance and user experience, collaborate with researchers and engineers, and contribute to innovative DeFi primitives while working from anywhere on a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing DeFi protocols.
• Strong knowledge of Solidity and smart contract security.
• Experience with layer-2 scaling and various blockchain platforms.
• Understanding of incentives and economic design in decentralized systems.
