About the Role

Our client is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and highly reliable Nanny to provide exceptional care for their two young children, aged 3 and 5, in Pietermaritzburg. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, including crafts, games, and outdoor play.
• Prepare healthy and balanced meals and snacks for the children.
• Assist with bath time, dressing, and bedtime routines.
• Maintain a clean and organized play area and children's rooms.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
• Occasional light household tasks related to the children.
• Accompany children to extracurricular activities or playdates as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Nanny or Childminder, with excellent references.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Deep understanding of child development stages.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• A clean criminal record check.
