Join Our Team as a Deckhand at Broome Tours!

Are you passionate about the water and ready for an exciting role in the beautiful Kimberley region? Broome Tours is looking for a dedicated and adaptable Deckhand to join our crew. This is your chance to work in one of the most breathtaking parts of Australia and be part of an unforgettable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure our guests have a memorable time on board.
    • Assist in the launch and retrieval of tenders in various conditions.
    • Help manage and account for tides and weather changes during operations.
    • Maintain and operate equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency on board.
    • Support sailing activities (experience preferred, but training provided if needed).
    • Undertake maintenance tasks and other responsibilities as required.

Key Competencies:

We’re looking for someone who:

    • Has, or is willing to obtain, an LR Manual Bus Licence.
    • Is comfortable working in confined spaces and can stay organised under pressure.
    • Is flexible with working hours, including early starts.
    • Is available to work from May through October.
    • Has previous experience in a maintenance role (preferred but not essential).
    • Stays calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
