Placements24 is seeking a Decentralized Finance Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, develop, and deploy secure DeFi smart contracts and backend services across Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains, collaborating across time zones to drive innovative financial products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on DeFi.
• Expertise in Solidity and smart contract development for Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains.
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols (AMMs, liquidity mining, flash loans) and tokenomics.
• Experience with blockchain frameworks (Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle).
• Familiarity with Web3.js/Ethers.js and interacting with smart contracts.
• Strong financial market understanding and ability to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Decentralized Finance (DeFi).
• Expertise in Solidity and smart contract development for Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains.
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, concepts (e.g., AMMs, liquidity mining, flash loans), and tokenomics.
• Experience with blockchain development frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle).
• Familiarity with Web3.js/Ethers.js and interacting with smart contracts.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience as a contractor, managing deliverables and timelines independently.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Python, Go) is a plus.
