Debtors Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Debtors Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will handle tasks such as processing Proof of Deliveries (PODs), invoicing and managing client accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work with different departments, and a good understanding of financial processes.

Who are you?

1. 1 - 3 Years in a similar role
2. Proficient in computer applications and software
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work effectively under pressure
5. A background in finance or relevant education is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process and verify the accuracy of Proof of Deliveries (PODs) using internal software.
2. Issue and distribute monthly invoices and statements to clients.
3. Communicate with clients to address and resolve account queries.
4. Verify and invoice overweight load charges and related fines.
5. Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for task completion.
6. Review load confirmations from subcontractors and manage the invoicing of related loads.
