Job Description:

One of our clients, a factory in the Darling district, which is part of a larger group of Companies, is looking for a dynamic and purposeful Debtor Manager. He/she will be part of their existing Financial team to cover all facets of Debtors for the company and the other entities.

Qualifications:
  • A relevant post-school qualification, e.g., BCom / BCompt
  • Completed clerical or 5 years of accounting experience, with specific reference to Debtors
  • Experience with retail stores such as Shoprite, Spar, Foodloversmarket, etc., will be advantageous
  • Advanced computer skills (e.g., Pastel, MS Office, X3, etc.)
  • Relevant experience in debtors, credit management, and statistical analysis of financial information
  • The candidate must demonstrate the following qualities:
  • Excellent administrative and numerical skills
  • Good management and planning skills
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
  • Ability to communicate assertively to maintain control and good human relations
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proactive approach to duties
  • Neatness, accuracy, and cost awareness beneficial to the company
  • Willing to work seasonal irregular and long hours, and willing to go the extra mile
