Our client, a reputable dealership based in the Johannesburg North area, is seeking to appoint a Qualified Service Manager to lead their service department.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, driven, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements : Matric is Essential Relevant Automotive Technical Qualification – Essential (Trade Tested Motor Mechanic or equivalent) Previous experience as a Service Manager – Minimum 3–5 years Experience with Ford vehicles and systems – Highly advantageous Strong leadership, management, and communication skills Proven ability to meet performance targets and manage customer satisfaction Computer literate (Kerridge / CDK, Automate or similar DMS experience preferred) Valid driver's license Clean criminal record.

Key Responsibilities : Oversee the daily operations of the service department Manage a team of technicians and service advisors Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality Drive profitability and performance targets Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and company policies Handle escalated customer issues and ensure resolution Monitor service workflows, parts usage, and workshop productivity Manage warranty claims and ensure accurate documentation Preferred Attributes : Knowledge of Ford systems and processes Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Customer-focused with a hands-on leadership style
