Dealership Parts Sales Executive - Gauteng, Strijdom Park

If you are an experienced Parts Sales Executive with a talent for sales, then #DriveYourCareerForward and step into this role at a well-established business and brand. Your role will focus on helping customers find the right parts to keep their vehicles running smoothly.

You will be responsible for driving sales by attracting clients, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high sales levels on an ongoing basis.

Remuneration

R 11,000 per month plus performance-based incentives. Benefits include Provident Fund and Medical Aid.

Duties
  1. Accurately sell parts to address defects and meet customer needs on the first attempt.
  2. Ensure initial quotations are precise.
  3. Possess extensive knowledge of vehicle replacement parts.
  4. Carefully listen to customer descriptions to understand the part or component location.
  5. Handle telephonic queries for the Sales Department as needed.
  6. Demonstrate a commitment to personal growth and a willingness to learn more about the products.
  7. Help maintain a clean and organized parts department.
  8. Record all parts used on the job card.
  9. Follow established procedures for processing transactions, warranties, and returns at the parts counter.
  10. Monitor and report shortages to the Parts Manager to expedite resolution.
  11. Verify that the correct items are picked and delivered on the first attempt.
  12. Accurately handle and record all consumables.
  13. Contribute to departmental and dealership marketing plans as needed.
  14. Implement company policies to protect stores from fire, damage, or theft.
  15. Adhere to discount policies and ensure compliance.
  16. Verify full valuation for items returned for credit.
  17. Gather customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Matric qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years' parts sales experience is essential.
  • Strong parts retail experience.
  • Clear criminal record.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • PC literacy – Drive, Autoline, Excel, and Word.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, confidence, and proactivity.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and work in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Stable work history.
