Our Client, a market leader in the Automotive Industry, is seeking to employ a Dealer Training Academy Manager, to their dynamic team based in Centurion.
Note: this is strictly an EE appointment.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally in Business Management or Human Resources Management.
- A minimum of five years of automotive industry experience, particularly in training and development.
- Minimum of five years of experience at supervisory level.
- Understanding of retail environments and importer/dealer structures.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive business and customer value creation.
- Project management ability to handle volume and complexity.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Experience leading specialist teams.
- Technical qualification in engineering or as a technician would be an advantage.
- Affinity for technology applications.
- Analytical and conceptual ability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of data management and analytics.
- Experience with procurement processes and third-party management.
- Knowledge of managing outsourced business services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the People and Talent Strategy for the automotive retail network, aligned to group standards.
- Manage outsourced training services through governance models, contracts and service level agreements.
- Oversee targeted training solutions including new model introductions, technology updates, certification paths and compliance.
- Design and publish the annual catalogue of services, including training schedules, pricing and standards.
- Ensure facilities, fleet, special tools and equipment are well maintained and compliant with OSHEE requirements.
- Oversee budgets for OPEX and CAPEX in line with purchasing guidelines and monthly reporting.
- Conduct benchmarking and trend analysis to align training and talent solutions with strategic objectives.
- Drive consultation with brands, set annual training needs analysis plans and report on progress quarterly.
- Manage interfaces with departments such as Finance, Purchasing, Learning Academies, IS and Legal.
- Supervise procurement processes for service delivery requirements in line with purchasing guidelines.
- Manage support services for facilities including security, cleaning, catering, gardening and printing.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements from regulatory bodies such as MerSeta, QCTO, Tuev and HPCSA.
- Oversee adherence to best practices in data management and data integrity.
