A leading financial services provider in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a Telesales Consultant to join their dynamic sales call centre. The role involves identifying sales opportunities, managing outbound calls, and attending to general administration. Candidates should have at least 1 year of sales experience and Life product knowledge. Qualifications

  • At least 1 year sales experience, preferably in an outbound telesales environment.
  • Minimum 1 year Life product knowledge, Discovery Life Knowledge is an advantage.
  • PC literacy in email, word, and excel.
  • Tertiary qualification is an advantage.
  • NQF5 and RE5 qualification required.

Responsibilities

Key purpose

This position is based in the Discovery Connect Sales call centre and reports to the sales team leader. The successful individual will be required to conduct Discovery Life telesales.

The successful individual will be required to perform on, but not limited to the following key outputs:

  • Communication to members telephonically via fax and email
  • Attending to general administration
  • Achieve quality target
  • Adhering to service level agreements
