Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure administrator in Johannesburg to support and manage enterprise IT systems. You will work within ITSM/ITIL guidelines, ensuring stability of virtualization, clustering, replication, and load balancing across large corporate environments.

The role focuses on administering Microsoft environments, Active Directory, SQL Server and Windows Server platforms, with opportunity to lead technical projects and implement security best

Qualifications

• Masters degree in information technology or computer science.
• Minimum 8 years experience in supporting and maintaining Microsoft Systems and Databases.
• 7 to 13 years relevant IT experience.
• ISO 27000 and other IT security training.

Responsibilities

• Within the discipline of IT service management (ITIL) as defined by the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
• Main functions are supporting the IT infrastructure in the BUILD and RUN Team at an engineering level called IT administration.

• Microsoft Certified Database Administrator - Requirement
