A dynamic and forward-thinking financial institution is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing data team and support mission-critical analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Build and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance data infrastructure across on-premise and cloud platforms (Azure, SAS, Hadoop, Ab Initio, Databricks, and more).
  2. Design and develop data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, provisioning, streaming, and API integrations.
  3. Ensure clean, consistent, and governed data flows into data lakes, data warehouses, and enterprise data marts.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, engineers, and modelers to deliver robust and usable data products.
  5. Drive automation, monitoring, and performance tuning of pipelines and large-scale data systems.
  6. Champion data quality, governance, and security in alignment with strategic data architecture goals.
Ideal candidates will have:
  1. A minimum of 6 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
  3. Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or other relevant programming languages.
  4. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
  5. Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and API development.
  6. Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar fields. Cloud, DevOps, or Data Engineering certifications are highly desirable.
