Job Description

Manage multiple projects within the Data Science and Data Engineering space. Perform stakeholder and business engagement, and manage end-to-end delivery to clients by leading teams of data engineers and data scientists.

The data scientist role is a specialized skill set within Deloitte Consulting: Cloud Engineering. The main purpose is to create innovative data solutions, automate processes, design new warehouse processes, and develop mechanisms to extract insights from data for key stakeholders.

• Build tailored SQL solutions for reporting, monitoring, and automation of controls.
• Conduct data analysis to derive insights.
• Make data-driven recommendations to align with data governance principles.
• Design, develop, and implement database solutions in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
• Utilize stored procedures to create routines that maintain reporting and automate controls.
• Identify opportunities and build models or other solutions for operational use.
• Create logic links between data from various systems for cross-system and multi-dimensional reporting.
• Automate controls within business processes.
• Design and implement automated data comparison solutions to trigger control processes.
• Simplify manual processes into automated or semi-automated solutions.
• Manage technical stakeholders across the business.
• Model complex business problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Additional Information

Deliver and manage the execution of Data Engineering and Data Science projects.

Develop scalable, automated solutions leveraging Data Science and Data Engineering teams.

Develop a Business Intelligence roadmap; prioritize insight requests to balance tactical and strategic needs.

Design and manage end-to-end Data Science and Data Engineering solutions.

Collaborate with technology teams on new data capabilities and architecture.

Implement best practices in pipeline frameworks and deploy use cases using ML techniques.

Establish and meet SLAs and TAT for requirements.

Understand business processes, risks, and controls, and frame client problem statements with data analytics or digital solutions.

Utilize industry technologies for data analysis and business intelligence solutions.

Apply SDLC methodologies to develop solutions.

Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong interpersonal, management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Mentor junior team members and engage with stakeholders effectively.
