The Data Scientist is a specialist within the Quality and Risk team in Deloitte Audit. The role primarily involves creating and facilitating access to data for stakeholders, enhancing visibility for the business.

Impact and Responsibilities
  • Work daily on impactful projects in a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Model complex business problems and identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Build SQL solutions for monitoring and automation.
  • Develop exception reports and PowerBI dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Use stored procedures to maintain reporting routines.
  • Build models and solutions for operations.
  • Create logic links between data sources for cross-system reporting.
  • Automate controls within business processes.
  • Design automated data comparison processes to trigger actions.
  • Simplify manual processes into automated or semi-automated workflows.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the business.
  • Integrate data from various systems.
  • Prepare, clean, manipulate, and interpret data.
  • Develop PowerBI reports for regulatory, strategic, and operational purposes.
  • Automate manual, time-consuming processes.
  • Participate in cloud migration projects.
  • Maintain Master Data Services (MDS).
Qualifications
  • Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Experience with PowerBI or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
