Job summary

FNB Namibia in Johannesburg is seeking a Data Scientist III to plan, build, optimise, and implement innovative quantitative analytical methodologies and advanced models. You will provide analytical support, interpret insights, and address business opportunities while implementing strategy.

The ideal candidate has an Honours Degree in a quantitative field and at least five years of data experience, with preferred exposure to financial crime or anti-money laundering environments.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science or Engineering.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a data environment with analytical model development and implementation.
• Experience in financial crime, fraud or anti-money laundering is advantageous.
• Plan, build, optimise and implement quantitative analytical methodologies and models to support business strategy.
