Job Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, build, optimize, and implement innovative quantitative analytical methodologies, procedures, products, and advanced mathematical models to support business strategies and interpret insights.
  2. Use data and analytics to improve customer experience, identify monetization opportunities, and monitor the implementation of business decisions.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to create delivery plans, define metrics, and track performance.
  4. Analyze data to identify new information commercialization opportunities.
  5. Translate technical data into practical business insights and assist in productionalizing analytics within the approved architecture.
  6. Assess data quality and availability to support management decisions.
  7. Develop core analytical capabilities and model libraries using advanced statistical techniques.
  8. Work across departments to ensure proper data usage and support operational results.
  9. Participate in projects addressing analytical needs and opportunities.
  10. Serve as SME for analytics, understanding business operations.
  11. Identify relevant business questions and select appropriate analytics models.
  12. Document processes and ensure quality and relevance of models through updates.
  13. Proactively manipulate and analyze data to meet business needs and ensure data quality.
  14. Build relationships, manage expectations, and foster knowledge sharing.
  15. Identify and escalate potential risks.
  16. Translate business requirements into models, develop algorithms, and validate solutions.
  17. Assist junior analysts, adhere to policies, and ensure model relevance.
  18. Optimize processes for cost savings, revenue, and efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • B.Sc. Degree in Mathematical, Analytical, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or Computer Science. Honours Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience, with 1-2 years in credit risk analytics.
Technical Skills:
  • SAS, SQL, Teradata, PowerBI; Python and R are advantageous.
