Badger Holdings in George, Western Cape seeks an experienced Data Scientist to own end-to-end ML projects from data prep to deployment and monitoring. You will translate business questions into robust models and scale them into practical solutions for insurance challenges.

You’ll work independently, document models and pipelines, build dashboards, and present findings to business teams. A minimum of 5 years in data science and a hands-on ML background are required for this on-site role.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, clean and transform data, and engineer features for modelling.
• Explore data to identify patterns and guide model development.
• Build, validate and deploy machine learning models.
• Monitor model performance, investigate drift and retrain models when needed.
• Troubleshoot deployed solutions and maintain reliable pipelines.
• Document models, pipelines and processes so others can understand and maintain them.
• Create dashboards and reporting tools that help business teams use your finding
