What you will be doing:

1. Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide impactful, data-driven solutions.
2. Transform data from SQL databases into Power BI, ensuring accuracy and relevance in all reports.
3. Design, build, and maintain engaging Power BI dashboards, optimising DAX calculations for insightful data analysis.
4. Safeguard sensitive data by implementing role-level security and ensuring confidentiality across all projects.
5. Offer hands-on training and support to clients, empowering them to make the most of Power BI's capabilities.
6. Analyse large datasets to deliver meaningful client reports, while continuously enhancing processes and tools.
7. Stay updated on the latest Power BI practices and trends, bringing fresh ideas to improve solutions and innovations.
8. Set personal growth goals, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to organisational discussions and initiatives.

What you need:

1. A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
2. 2+ years of experience in data analysis, visualisation, and dashboard development with MS Power BI.
3. Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation, with proficiency in DAX for calculations.
4. Ability to simplify complex financial concepts into clear visuals.
5. Experience with financial data and investment performance reporting is a plus.
6. Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes is preferred.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities.
8. Effective communicator with strong storytelling skills in data visualisation.
9. Able to manage deadlines, work under pressure, and handle large datasets.
10. Works well independently and as part of a team.
11. Take initiative, be proactive, and adapt to meet deadlines.
