Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development and deployment of ML models, analyse large datasets, and generate actionable insights for stakeholders. The role requires an honours degree in a quantitative field with at least 5 years in data science and senior-level experience, plus strong Python/SQL skills and cloud experience (GCP).

You will mentor juniors, promote best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and evidence-based

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or similar quantitative field
• Minimum 5 years' data science experience
• At least 2 years in a senior-level role
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience with machine learning techniques
• Experience with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Experience with model deployment and tracking
• Understanding of Git and CI/CD practices
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Data Studio
