We are seeking a Data Scientist to develop and implement innovative quantitative analytical methodologies, procedures, products, and advanced mathematical models that support analytics and interpret insights to address business opportunities and strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Innovate by finding the best fit solutions, offering flexible delivery and customized solutions for efficient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, standards, frameworks, and governance for model building and analytics.
  • Ensure ethical and compliant use of information respecting privacy and sensitivity requirements.
  • Create delivery plans in collaboration with stakeholders to understand information needs and define performance metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify new opportunities for business growth and revenue.
  • Translate technical data into practical business insights and produce analytics in line with architecture standards.
  • Develop core analytical capabilities and collaborate across departments to optimize data use and achieve operational results.
  • Build, document, and audit models addressing specific business needs, ensuring relevance and accuracy through regular updates.
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques, including text analytics and data visualization, to derive insights and support decision-making.
  • Maintain knowledge of legislative and industry standards, ensuring compliance and governance.

Ideal candidate qualifications:

  • BSc in Actuarial Science, Quantitative Risk, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • 2-3+ years of experience with coding in SAS and SQL, proficiency in Microsoft tools like PowerBi, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Python and Java are advantageous.
