Job summary

Network Recruitment seeks a senior data scientist in Cape Town to build and deploy machine learning models and analyse large datasets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, present insights to stakeholders and drive innovation through experiments and best practices.

The role requires a honours degree in a quantitative field and at least 5 years in data science, with 2+ years in a senior capacity. Strong Python/SQL and cloud experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Minimum 5 years' data science experience with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL; solid ML and statistics background.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Experience with machine learning techniques
• Experience with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Experience with model deployment and tracking
