Hire Resolve is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. Your main mission will be to ensure the continued reliability, performance, and evolution of advanced data science systems, including data pipelines, dashboards, and APIs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/math or related field.
• 2+ years' experience in data engineering, MLOps, or system maintenance.
• Strong understanding of data science production workflows including pipelines and model lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor health and performance of production data science systems (models, dashboards, pipelines).
• Diagnose data drift, performance degradation, or infra instability and apply fixes.
• Automate monitoring tasks and health checks for data quality and forecast accuracy.
• Update and patch environments and applications across versions and dependencies.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to refactor and optimize code for maintainability.
• Maintain documentation and change logs for knowledge sharing and traceability.
• Support incident response including root cause analysis and post-incident improvements.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards.
