Job summary

Hire Resolve’s client in Johannesburg seeks a dynamic Data Engineer to lead the product/platform lifecycle, translating business needs into specifications and driving the roadmap. You will partner with CEOs, COOs, engineering and sales to deliver scalable tech solutions in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 5+ years managing technology products, strong stakeholder communication, and experience with Agile/Scrum. Hybrid work model in Johannesburg is considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing technology products.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of the product/platform from ideation to release.
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
• Work closely with engineering teams to build and enhance the platform.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality tech solutions.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and development teams.
• Gather and prioritize feature requests and feedback from users or clients.
• Run and manage the product independently with minimal oversight.
• Make strategic and tactical decisions to drive product growth and performance.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions are feasible and scalable.
