Talent Acquisition Lead : BMW Account at Workforce Staffing Professional Talent Solutions

We are looking for a Specialist Data Scientist to join a Global Markets Data Analytics department that focuses on enhancing data quality and analytics capabilities within their organization.

The team collaborates closely with various departments to ensure data integrity and provide actionable insights.

You will be responsible for assisting in the development and optimization of market-making models, focusing on equities and equity derivatives.

Conduct back testing and research to improve current models and develop new ones.

Analyze high-frequency trading data to identify patterns and trends.

Implement machine learning techniques, particularly LSTMs and convolutional networks, to predict short-term price movements.

Collaborate with the team to integrate new indicators and models into production environments.

Work with AWS infrastructure, including S3 buckets and SageMaker, for data processing and model training, among other tasks.

Technical Skill Requirements to qualify :

Proficiency in SQL, Python, AWS, and QuickSight

Over 5 years of experience working with databases for data analysis

Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques

Experience with ticketing systems (Azure DevOps (ADO), ServiceNow), change management tools

Over 5 years of experience within global markets

Proficiency in machine learning and trading algorithms

At least 2 years of experience within a hedge fund
