Qualifications

• Master's degree (NQF Level 9) in Information Systems or closely related field.
• Master's degree (NQF Level 9) in a cognate business or technology field with substantial IT content or research relevant to data science.
• Lecturing/tutoring experience in databases, programming, big data, data analytics or data science.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module requirements.
• Update learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Engage and prepare students for assessments and identify at risk students.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions; escalate when needed.
• Attend and participate in academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on and analyse student module results; support at‑risk students.
