Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Data & Reporting Analyst to join the Durban team.

Responsibilities include:

• Automating data cleaning processes using SQL.
• Validating data from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Supporting the creation and maintenance of dashboards and regular reports.
• Analyzing datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Presenting data insights clearly using visualizations and summaries.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and providing relevant data solutions.
• Working with other analysts and departments on larger projects and data initiatives.
• Maintaining documentation for data sources, processes, and reports.
• Improving data collection and analysis processes for better efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Grade 12, Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or related fields.
• 1-3 years of experience in a data-related role.
• Knowledge/experience in ETL processes.
• Knowledge/experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Experience with visualization tools, especially AWS QuickSight, Power BI.
• Knowledge of Python for modeling and data analysis is an asset.
• Proficient in Excel and data manipulation techniques.

Education: Grade 12; Bachelor's degree or Diploma in relevant fields.
