Your day at NTT DATA

The Data Privacy Analyst reporting into the global Data Privacy Corporate Implementation Services Lead within the Global Data Privacy Center of Excellence (CoE), will be responsible for supporting the effective implementation and oversight of the Data Privacy program within Corporate Functions, including People & Culture, Marketing, Finance & Operations (Finance, Office of Information Security and IT), Sustainability Business, Risk, as well as extended functions that form part of the group. The Data Privacy Analyst will work closely with the Data Privacy Corporate Implementation Services Lead, and Data Privacy Specialists and stakeholders in each of these functions to ensure that appropriate controls, across people, process and technology, are put in place at a global and country level, to support compliance with data protection laws and regulations, industry standards and NTT DATA, Inc.’s global Data Privacy policies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Data Privacy Corporate Implementation Services Lead in:
    • Implementing Data Privacy initiatives, tools, and frameworks across Corporate Functions.
    • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of privacy documentation and templates.
    • Creating and maintaining the global Record of Processing Activities (ROPA) ensuring it reflects all processing activities and associated data flows, including cross-border data transfers, for the Corporate Functions and extended group entities.
      • Ensure ROPA’s are accurate, complete, and regularly maintained across all Corporate Functions
      • Account for country-level nuances when documenting processing activities.
      • Ensure that Privacy Risk assessments are conducted on all ROPAs
      • Ensure that DPIAs are conducted for all High-Risk ROPAs
      • Ensure 3rd party privacy assessments are conducted and linked to the associated ROPA
      • Ensure readiness forregulatory inspections, including the ability to promptly provide ROPA documentation toData Protection Authoritiesupon request
      • Lead periodic reviews and audits of ROPA entries to ensure ongoing compliance and operational accuracy.
    • Provide input and ensure the completion of DPIAs and other Data Privacy assessments to assess the impact of new or changes to processing activities involving personal data and support the Corporate Functions in embedding Data Privacy controls into business processes and systems.
    • Where applicable, document and assess Data Privacy risks and develop strategies to manage or mitigate them
    • Manage and coordinate the intake, triage, and resolution of Data Subject Requests (DSR) (e.g., access, deletion, correction),
      • working with IT, Legal, and business teams to ensure timely and compliant responses.
      • Maintain DSR logs and support reporting and metrics for compliance tracking.
    • Monitor and manage the central Data Privacy group inbox.
      • Respond to internal queries, escalate complex issues, and ensure timely resolution.
      • Identify trends in queries to inform training needs and process improvements.
    • Participate in Data Privacy working groups and governance forums.
    • Maintain your technical expertise by keeping abreast of developments in data privacy, participating in industry forums and undertaking continual training and development
