Job summary

WeconnectU is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain the data foundation connecting product, CRM, finance and operations to trusted reporting and analytics.

You will own end-to-end data pipelines, data contracts, and quality checks, ensuring scalable schemas and maintainable code. Collaboration across Technology, Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing and Operations is essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of practical experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI engineering or closely related role.
• Hands-on production experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse/lakehouse, including loading, schema design, SQL transformations, RBAC, monitoring and cost optimization.
• Very strong SQL skills with automation, integration, testing and production support.
• Experience designing, building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines, API integrations and incremental loads.
• Strong relational and dimensional data modeling including CRM data models and cross-system identity matching.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a centralised data platform connecting product, CRM, finance and ops systems.
• Design scalable data models and schemas for shared data domains.
• Create automated data quality checks and monitoring across pipelines.
• Translate business requirements into data contracts, tasks and test cases.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to deliver the data roadmap.
