Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Clinical Data Management in CRO/pharma/research environments.
  • Experience leading data management activities across multiple studies or programmes.
  • Experience working directly with sponsors and building strong client relationships.
  • Experience coordinating or leading teams, projects, programmes, or functional initiatives.
  • Expert knowledge of clinical trial processes across startup, conduct, and close-out.
  • Experience driving process improvements and implementing best practices within Data Management.
  • Demonstrated people leadership, mentoring, coaching, or team development activities.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Data Management contact for an assigned sponsor or sponsor programme
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with sponsor stakeholders
  • Provide strategic and operational oversight across one or more clinical studies
  • Lead or contribute to sponsor governance meetings, study planning discussions, and operational reviews
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and opportunities, driving timely resolution and continuous improvement
  • Support, mentor, and develop Data Management professionals working on the assigned programme
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, quality, and continuous learning
  • Support study budget oversight, forecasting, and resource planning activities
  • Monitor programme performance and utilisation to support efficient delivery
  • Champion data quality, inspection readiness, and compliance across assigned studies
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, and standardisation
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives that strengthen Data Management capabilities and service delivery

P95 JC is seeking an experienced and motivated Data Management Programme Lead to take ownership of a dedicated sponsor portfolio, providing leadership across one or more clinical studies while serving as a trusted partner to the sponsor. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines Clinical Data Management expertise, programme oversight, sponsor engagement, team development, and operational planning. The successful candidate will work closely with both sponsor stakeholders and internal teams to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compliant delivery of Data Management activities throughout the study lifecycle. The Data Management Programme Lead will play a key role in driving delivery excellence, building strong sponsor relationships, supporting team growth and development, and continuously improving ways of working to ensure successful study outcomes.

Experience Required
  • Extensive experience (minimum of 6 years) within Clinical Data Management in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research environment,
  • Experience leading Data Management activities across multiple clinical studies or programmes
  • Experience working directly with sponsors and building strong client relationships
  • Experience coordinating or leading teams, projects, programmes, or functional initiatives
  • Expert knowledge of clinical trial processes across start‑up, conduct and close‑out
  • Experience driving process improvements and implementing best practices within Data Management
  • People leadership, mentoring, coaching, or team development activities
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
