About the Position
We seek a detail-oriented and analytical Lead Research and Data Enrichment Specialist to join our team on a contractor basis working fully remotely. In this role, you will leverage tools such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay, and other data-sourcing platforms to source, cleanse, enrich, and score prospect data. By importing and maintaining data in our CRM, you will ensure that high-quality leads are provided to the sales team for outreach activities. Your efficiency and attention to detail will directly contribute to the effectiveness of our sales and marketing strategies by delivering actionable and reliable data.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Prospecting & Data Sourcing
- Identify and source potential leads from your databases, tools, and platforms (e.g., Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay, Google Maps).
- Gather key prospect information including verified contact details (email, direct phone number), job title, industry, and company data.
Data Cleansing & Enrichment
- Verify, validate, and cleanse prospect data to ensure accuracy and remove duplicates.
- Enrich lead data by augmenting missing or additional information (e.g., job titles, company size, revenue, or market segments).
- Maintain high data integrity through rigorous quality checks and consistent best practices.
Lead Scoring & Segmentation
- Analyze and score leads based on predefined criteria such as company fit, intent, and engagement levels.
- Segment enriched data into target groups to align with outreach strategies.
CRM Management
- Import cleansed and enriched leads into our CRM (e.g., HubSpot), ensuring correct mapping of data fields.
- Maintain consistent data structure and best practices within the CRM.
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand lead qualification criteria and target audience needs.
- Ensure the enriched data aligns with campaign objectives and outreach efforts.
Tools & Technology Management
- Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies to enhance the data enrichment process.
- Proactively suggest improvements to existing processes and workflows.
- Document and refine processes to ensure repeatability and scalability of process documentation best practices.
Ad Hoc Support
- Assist with additional operational tasks as needed such as generating reports, analytics, or troubleshooting data-related issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support broader operational objectives.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Technical Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in a data-centric role (e.g., data enrichment, sales operations, marketing operations).
- Proficiency with data sourcing and enrichment tools (e.g., Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay).
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus).
- Strong command of Excel / Google Sheets for bulk data manipulation and reporting.
- A basic understanding of database management tools is an advantage.

This is a contractor role compensated based on market pricing.
