Job description

We have a client who is looking for the following professionals for a 3-year contract project based in Durban:

1. Senior Data Engineer

Design and implement ETL pipelines for large-scale data integration

Ensure data accuracy, cleaning and transformation (SQL, Python, R)

Optimize performance for high-volume transaction processing

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in data engineering (banking/audit data preferred)

• Certifications in cloud/data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)

• Strong experience with MS SQL, Oracle, AS/400

2. Solution Architect

Lead system architecture design for audit/data analysis software

Ensure scalability, security, and integration with enterprise systems

Oversee Agile implementation and SLA compliance

Qualifications:

• TOGAF/AWS/Azure certifications

• Proven experience in audit software deployments

• Expertise in Active Directory and backup/restore protocols

3. Senior Business Analyst (Audit/Finance Focus)

Gather requirements and document functional specifications

Bridge gap between technical teams and business stakeholders

Define use cases for fraud detection, payroll audits, etc.

Qualifications:

• Background in audit/finance (CIA, CPA advantageous)

• Experience with data analytics tools (ACL, Power BI, Tableau)

• Strong stakeholder management skills

4. Senior Software Trainer

Develop training materials (manuals, videos, workshops)

Train end-users on data analysis and reporting tools

Provide ongoing support and FAQs

Qualifications:

• 5+ years training on audit/data software (e.g., ACL, IDEA)

• Certifications in adult education or e-learning

• Excellent communication skills
