Job Description

Working with and supporting the Technical Lead in establishing new patterns, standards, processes, and procedures for the client's solution and data community.

Specialize in data integration and data warehousing concepts to extract data from disparate sources, transform it as per business requirements, and load the required tables for downstream consumption.

Assist in designing and building solutions, communicating with both technical and business teams, and conveying solutions to meet business requirements.

Delivery Leadership: Define high-level solution design options based on client requirements, create design standards and patterns, and facilitate rapid prototyping for design discussions.

Mentor and train junior team members, conduct code reviews, and provide accurate task estimations.

Quickly learn new technologies, define structured problem-solving approaches, and complete data models and designs within client standards.

Understand complex business environments, document designs for client understanding, and obtain architectural approval.

Understand DataOps approach to solution architecture. Solid experience in data and SQL is required; experience in other areas is a bonus.

Technical skills include experience with databases (SAP HANA, SQL Server), database development (views, functions, stored procedures, query optimization, indexes, OLAP/MDX), cloud platforms (AWS), ETL tools (SSIS, IBM DataStage, SAP Data Services, Informatica), programming languages (Java, Python), UNIX & Shell commands, Data Vault, Kimball, 3rd Normal Form, streaming technologies (NiFi, Kafka), and methodologies (Agile, PMBOK, DataOps/DevOps).

Qualifications include a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Engineering, or related field; a postgraduate degree is preferred. 3-5 years of client-facing experience is required.
