Job summary

VML is seeking a senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines powering marketing and product analytics for tier‑one clients. You will work with GCP, Matillion, Snowflake, and RudderStack to ingest, transform, and deliver data for Amplitude and Tableau.

You will collaborate with analytics, data science, and product teams to ensure data quality, governance, and timely delivery while optimizing pipelines for performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of data engineering experience with marketing analytics.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to consult on data challenges.
• Proficiency in GDPR/CCPA data governance and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in a modern data stack.
• Ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with analysts and product teams to meet data needs.
• Ensure data quality and governance across platforms like Amplitude and Tableau.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows and pipelines.
