Job summary

WPP Enterprise Solutions seeks an experienced Data Engineer, Marketing & Analytics, to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines powering digital and media reporting for tier-one clients. You will work with GCP, Snowflake, Matillion, and Rudderstack to ensure high-quality data for Amplitude and BI tools.

You will collaborate with analytics, data science, and product teams to translate data requirements into scalable solutions, while upholding GDPR/CCPA governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years engineering and development experience.
• Strong client-facing skills, able to address complex data challenges.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with GDPR/CCPA and data governance.
• Experience with marketing/product data and analytics ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion and GCP to ingest and load data into Snowflake.
• Ingest data from CDPs (Rudder stack), APIs, and data feeds for Amplitude and reporting tools.
• Develop SQL transformations in Snowflake and model data with star/snowflake data schemas.
• Monitor, optimize, and secure data infrastructure across GCP and Snowflake.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring; troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and product teams to support reporting and BI needs.
• Document data pipelines, models, and governance procedures.
