Based in Johannesburg or Cape Town, you will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, DevOps, and data scientists while applying modern practices to improve data processing and security.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with extensive data processing experience.
• Strong SQL expertise and query optimization.
• Experience with Azure/AWS data stack and cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Architects on cloud design (AWS/Azure/IBM).
• Build and maintain data ecosystems and data ingestion pipelines.
• Ensure security of cloud infrastructure and data processes.
• Apply modern principles to advance data-related initiatives.
• Identify ways to improve data processing, reliability, and cost.
• Prepare and execute unit, system, and integration tests.
