Job Purpose

Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines as part of our enterprise data platform. This role supports the organization's data-driven decision-making by enabling scalable, high-quality data solutions that power analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
  • Develop and enhance scalable data models and data warehouse structures to support reporting and advanced analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
  • Implement and maintain data quality, validation, and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Uphold data governance standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Mentor and support junior team members through training, peer reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously improve existing data infrastructure and tools to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Develop interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using Pyramid Analytics and/or Power BI.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A relevant 3-year degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in designing and building data pipelines.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Proven experience with business intelligence tools, particularly Power BI or Pyramid Analytics.
  • Advantageous:

o

Experience with SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS.

o

Familiarity with dbt, Azure Data Factory, and cloud platforms (especially Azure).

  • Experience with unit, integration, and regression testing of data solutions.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in data collection, analysis, modeling, and visualization.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and best practices in modern data platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in data-driven projects across Retail, Finance, Customer, or HR domains is advantageous.
