Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Developer to help us optimize, manage, and improve our product data. This role involves completing missing information in product catalogs, creating new catalog entries, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the automotive and car parts industry and have strong technical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Optimization Review, clean, and enhance product data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Catalog Development Create and update product catalogs, ensuring all required information (technical specs, descriptions, images, etc.) is complete.
  • Data Integration Merge, reconcile, and organize data from different sources into a unified format.
  • Data Quality Assurance Regularly audit data to identify and correct errors, duplicates, or inconsistencies.
  • Automotive Product Knowledge Apply industry knowledge to accurately categorize and label automotive parts and products.
  • Collaboration Work closely with the marketing, e-commerce, and product management teams to ensure data aligns with business needs.
  • Process Improvement Identify ways to improve data entry, storage, and retrieval processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Documentation Maintain clear and detailed records of data processes, updates, and catalog changes.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Diploma/Degree in Information Management, Data Science, Business Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • 2-5+ years in a data management, catalog development, or data analysis role.
  • Experience in the automotive and car parts sector is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, data validation, pivot tables).
  • Experience with database systems and product information management (PIM) tools.
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce catalog management platforms (advantageous).
