Job description

We are seeking a seasoned Data Delivery Lead to join our dynamic Data Enablement team. This role requires a unique blend of deep data analysis expertise, delivery leadership, and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading data-driven projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, and translating complex business requirements into actionable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional data teams to deliver high-impact solutions across multiple industries.
  • Manage scope, timelines, risks, and budgets for data projects.
  • Ensure alignment of deliverables with business objectives and governance standards.
  • Facilitate Agile delivery practices including Kanban and sprint planning.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior business stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into data requirements and ensure mutual understanding between technical and business teams.
  • Present insights, risks, and progress to executive leadership and steering committees.

Data Analysis & Solution Design

  • Perform advanced data analysis to uncover insights and drive decision-making.
  • Design robust data solutions including data marts, dashboards, and reporting strategies.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all deliverables.
  • Lead the development of logical and physical data models.

Competency Development

  • Mentor and guide data analysts across projects.
  • Promote best practices in data analysis, governance, and delivery.
  • Contribute to the growth and maturity of the data enablement capability.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Leadership, or related field.
  • Certifications in data governance, BI, or Agile delivery are advantageous.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analysis, BI, and delivery leadership.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex data projects across industries (e.g., financial services, mining, utilities).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at executive levels.
  • Expertise in tools such as Power BI, SQL, Azure, Cognos, QlikView, and Teradata.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA) and methodologies (e.g., Kimball, Inmon).
  • Ability to lead teams and manage demand across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities.
