Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Monitoring and maintenance of all Data Centre critical infrastructure.
2. Performing planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance of all infrastructure.
3. Fault detection of critical infrastructure.
4. Switching and isolation of MV and LV equipment.
5. Installing and commissioning of new plant.
6. Conducting daily walk-arounds and inspections of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
7. Wiring of electrical control panels.
8. Providing technical support at Data Centre by performing system and network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operations.
9. Carrying out preventative maintenance of data center equipment and devices.
10. Monitoring system processes to ensure smooth operations.
11. Evaluating heating and cooling systems to ensure they are operational and can meet equipment temperature conditions.
12. Ensuring compliance with working methods to meet all client SLA and MSA requirements.
13. Monitoring customer network servers and storage systems to ensure uptime and efficient resolution of issues.

Compliance

• Maintaining compliance in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures.
• Meeting inter-departmental OLA (Operational Level Agreement).
• Monitoring health and safety standards and implementing corrective actions to meet statutory compliance and the company's objective of zero tolerance to unsafe work practices.
