Key Responsibilities

Perform operation and maintenance of data center electrical systems including :

Transformers

Switching power supplies

Maintain and repair complete electrical wiring systems including :

Conduits, cables, conductors

Switches, outlets, device plates, receptacles, grounding

Light fixtures and emergency lighting systems

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot :

Emergency backup systems

Large uninterruptible power supplies (UPS)

Electrical units such as generators, motors, voltage regulators

Diagnose faults, splice / replace wiring, rewind armatures and field coils

Ensure all electrical work complies with the

National Electrical Code (NEC)

and relevant safety standards

Candidate Requirements

Experience

Minimum 5 years in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance

At least 2–3 years in

data center operation and maintenance

preferred

Familiarity with UPS brands like

is a strong advantage

Educational Qualifications

National Diploma

in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Higher National Diploma (HND) from a technical college or university of technology accepted

Professional Certifications

Registered

with

ECSA

or equivalent

Wireman’s License

Trade Test Certificate

Valid

Electrical Regulations Certificates

Preferred Background

Candidates from companies such as
