About the Role : Grade Level (for internal use): 07

The Team : The Data Analyst is responsible for the collection, update, and quality control of macroeconomic, financial, and industry data, as well as maintaining data ingestion tools.

The Impact : The role supports our macroeconomic and financial products by delivering critical data, aiding customers in making investment decisions. Data gathered is essential for many S&P Global Market Intelligence businesses and is crucial for GIA forecasts and analysis.

Responsibilities :

1. Update macroeconomic, financial, and industry data within specified timeframes.
2. Rebase data and recalculate history as needed, especially during methodology changes.
3. Manage data additions as requested by the manager.
4. Perform quality control on all supported data.
5. Collaborate with analysts to address daily questions/issues.
6. Provide second-level support to customers via the ticket system.

What We're Looking For :

• Bachelor's degree in economics.
• 2-3 years' experience in economic and financial data.
• Excellent computer and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• English language skills (French or Portuguese are advantageous).
